[Maison Cacao] BOX with the image of the night sky Raw chocolate with a bitter taste Tanabata limited release

2022.07.04

“Tanabata,” one of Japan’s five festivals, is a day when you can make a wish upon a star once a year. Raw chocolate named after Tanabata will be on sale for a limited time from June 25th (Sat) to July 7th (Thu) from the aroma raw chocolate specialty store “Maison Cacao” that originated in Kamakura.

In a package that expresses the starry sky, we put raw chocolate made from brown sugar on Hateruma Island, the southernmost island of Japan, which is also called “Starry Island”. Among the many brown sugars produced in Okinawa, Hateruma Island has a lot of minerals and is characterized by a slightly bitter adult taste. Caramelized to bring out the aroma and combined with milk chocolate to wrap it in a soft flavor.
